75 years ago, the Rotary Club of Hopkinsville began the tradition of an annual community-wide auction to benefit the club’s efforts to support youth and education in Hopkinsville and Christian County. Today, the Rotary Club continues this mission by providing scholarships, awarding community grants, and supporting quality educational opportunities for the young people of this community.
The Spirit of 76
The theme for next year’s Rotary Auction is “The Spirit of 76.” When the United States was founded in 1776, American Patriots understood what it meant to put service above self as they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor in the struggle to win their independence. In 2026, America turns 250 years old and the Rotary Club of Hopkinsville will also celebrate its tradition of service to Hopkinsville and Christian County with the 76th annual Rotary Auction. Each purchase of a bottle of the “Rotary Spirit of 76” ensures that Rotary’s mission to support youth and education in the community endures.
