Casey Jones Distillery Launches The Brave, a Limited Release Single Barrel Series for America's 250th Anniversary

Hopkinsville, KY (June 29th, 2026) — Casey Jones Distillery today announced the launch of The Brave, a three-part limited release single barrel spirits series created in honor of America's 250th Anniversary. The series debuts today at the distillery's Red, White, and Booze event in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, with simultaneous online availability at caseyjonesdistillery.com.

Each label in The Brave series features iconic American imagery rendered in cinematic oil painting style and is distilled on Master Distiller Arlon "AJ" Casey Jones's hand-built square pot still using a 50/50 corn and cane mash bill. The spirits are aged four years and longer onsite in premium Kelvin Cooperage oak before bottling at cask strength.

The Releases

The Red Label carries Emanuel Leutze's iconic depiction of Washington Crossing the Delaware and is finished in four grain wheat-forward bourbon barrels. The first release, Barrel #1465, is bottled at 105.5 proof (52.75% ABV) with 229 bottles available.

The White Label features the Statue of Liberty and is the only unfinished spirit in the series — corn and cane aged straight through with no secondary barrel influence. Barrel #368 is bottled at 110.9 proof (55.45% ABV) with 194 bottles available.

The Blue Label depicts the flag raising at Iwo Jima on February 23rd, 1945, and is finished in high-rye bourbon barrels. Barrel #691 is bottled at 112 proof (56% ABV) with 219 bottles available.

Each bottle in The Brave series includes a 2026 Casey Jones Distillery Challenge Coin commemorating America's 250th Anniversary.

The Brave is priced at $89.99 per bottle, or $76.00 each when all three labels are purchased together. The bottles are available at the distillery and shipping online. Shipments begin at the end of July.

"I built that still myself. I distilled this myself. And I've been holding these barrels, waiting for the right moment. Two hundred and fifty years felt like the right moment." — Arlon "AJ" Casey Jones, Master Distiller

Red, White, and Booze

The Brave launches as part of Red, White, and Booze, a five-day event at Casey Jones Distillery running June 29 through July 4th. The event features a Public Barrel pick, giving guests free access to the rickhouse to sample six candidate casks for the next Brave series release and cast their vote as "We the People" on what gets bottled next.

The distillery will offer tours, tastings, and Fill Your Own Bottle experiences throughout the week with additional hours and programming including Smokin O's BBQ food truck and live music Thursday through Saturday.
